Hello

First of all let me thank you for taking a look at our website. My name is Jacob Kazakoff and Mountain Valley Media is a company I started to help local business. I grew up in the West Kootenays and have a strong passion for this place I call home. I now raise my son along with my wife on the Columbia River. We noticed many business in the West Kootenay and Boundary region that have a unique offering that can’t be found in many other places we have traveled.

Our goal is to help promote tourism and hospitality in the area. We noticed a massive shift of people travelling more locally instead of vacationing out of the country. We are placed in the middle of Vancouver and Calgary and with a shift of people moving out of city centers we are seeing a growth in people wanting to travel and possibly relocate in our mountain towns.

The Art Maps give both a deeper knowledge of the geography in the area and a playful scope of what it has to offer including things to do, wildlife to see and business that support the lifestyle.

Our digital wall is located in the Castlegar Regional Airport and sits above the baggage carousel. We support local business and give them the opportunity to make announcements to people that first arrive in our beautiful area.

We are also evolving and creating new ways to promote and support your business and improve the experiences of our tourist.
